Caitlin Foster

Caitlin Foster got her start in the industry in on-set practical special effects production, often working closely with the VFX department to ensure shot setups and technical data were captured accurately for post. In 2019, she joined MR. X and fulfilled her childhood dream of working with Paul W.S Anderson. Now with over a decade of production experience across commercial, series, and feature projects, Caitlin’s notable feature film credits include: Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, Nightmare Alley and David Cronenberg’s CSA Award winning Crimes of the Future. Previous series production credits also include Hotel Cocaine, The Porter and Foundation. Caitlin holds a Master of Arts in film from Western University. Her thesis, Clash of the Industry Titans: Marvel, DC and the Battle for Market Dominance explores the commercial and cultural successes (and failures) of comic book adaptation films — and yes, she has watched every MCU film in chronological order. When she’s not at work, you can find Caitlin backcountry camping, or watching women’s basketball.
